Review from Heather Dewhurst – www.kitchenwitchhearth.net

This book is a great introduction to Circe, dispelling the myth that She is to be feared, whilst demonstrating how Her energy is so relevant to magical practitioners today.

Irisanya Moon provides the reader with the life of Circe from the translated documents and points out that all of these vary slightly due to the beliefs of the person undertaking the translation.  risanya encourages the reader to look into these for themselves, giving substantial endnotes, with bibliography and resource appendices.

I also really appreciate that this author takes time to inform the reader that much of the book will contain their own personal gnosis and insights, that these are suggestions to give the reader ideas for developing their own connection should they so wish.  To do this the reader is given scripts for trance work, chapters on spell crafting, animal and herb associations, with a chapter dedicated to assisting those wishing to build a deeper relationship with Circe.
