We, or rather our consciousness, which exists in our mind, our spiritual aspect, with our physical body are under constant bombardment from two powerful contradicting influences. From below our feet is the feminine energy from deep within Mother Earth, the earth goddess. From above our heads is the masculine force from above the skies, the universal energy of Father Heaven, the sky god.
Ascending from the depths of the underworld are the earth spirits in the form of the SERPENTS of WISDOM, who I understand as facets of the Hindu Goddess Shakti, the ‘Great Divine Mother’, and the charge of the kundalini. Her name means FORCE. Descending to the Earth is the God energy of the universal BULL who I understand as Shakti’s beloved Lord Shiva, the ‘Great God of Transformation’ whose name means DESTROYER.
In the separation between the two, playing out in our mind, conflict and distrust, envy and fear keep the two lovers apart in the world of our personal reality. The mind, like all energy, is a vibration, a variable frequency with its own dimension that is neither of the body nor the soul, but is of both the earth and the heaven. The mind is where the spiritual meets the physical, the frontier where contact is made between the two realms of the SERPENT and the BULL.
The Hindus describe the mind’s place in the world where the higher self, guiding angel/demon, is the charioteer, the driver or pilot. The body is the chariot, vehicle, itself. It is the mind that connects the two as the reigns, handlebars, throttle and brakes. The senses are the horses, engine.

Where did the mind come from?
It all began when the Mother of Life, Tiamat gave birth to the principle of the universe known as the primal energy of the ‘source’ of everything in the form the goddess of chaos, Nammu, and the god of order, Mummu.
From the order of chaos came the LIGHT of Creation as a frequency sent in the form of vibrations. And out of that came the binding force, the interpreter of the vibrations, the mind.
Out of mind came spacetime;
Out of spacetime, Air;
Out of Air, Fire;
Out of Fire, Water;
Out of Water, Earth;
Out of Earth, Nature;
Out of Nature, Food, furs, shelter and tools;
Out of Food, came all of humanity.
The mind consists of the visible/known universe and a hidden, secret unconsciousness and at its centre sits the body. The known consciousness is a region of the mind and surrounded by the hidden consciousness realm behind a veil of angels and demons, gods and devils who guard the border between the earthly and heavenly worlds. From the mind comes instinct and intelligence, genius, creativity, inspiration, dreams, willpower, thoughts, feelings, hopes as well as principles, prejudice, attitudes, imaginings, fears and madness. It is fed by WISDOM and distracted by enchantment, entertainment and the eternal search for pleasure and satisfaction.
The mind works best in the NOW, with all 5 senses and their place in the universe at that moment. Still the mind to connect with God or Goddess, an angel or demon, the fairie folk etc.
Whether we like it or not, we are all trapped in our mind throughout our entire lifespan. We are our mind. Our mind is our perception of reality. To know God or Goddess, know mind.
