Morgan Daimler has done it again! This author brings their considerable knowledge, together with the known evidence, to deliver to the reader an accessible source of information for those of us that want to understand more about the Other Crowd.

The evidence is presented clearly, with as always an extensive bibliography for those wishing to look deeper. It is a testament to Morgan Daimler that they have succeeded in ensuring they impart delicate, provocative subjects from original sources, with care, sensitivity and understanding.

This book discusses the facts known of the many faceted selves of the worlds that have always run parallel to ours, not about gossamer winged, fairy dust throwing beings from Victorian romanticisation! The subject of love and sex in fairy belief is one many may avoid, and the author does give a warning, at the beginning of the book, that some of the topics may be difficult for various people. However, gaining knowledge from within these pages enables recognition and a better opportunity of defence for the reader.

Paid with a Kiss by Morgan Daimler

Paid with a Kiss gives a wide-ranging look at fairies, sex, gender, and human belief through history in Western Europe, focusing primarily on Irish, UK, and French evidence. By examining mythology, folklore, literature, and anecdotes, this book answers common questions of what we know about sex and sexuality among fairies and how they interact with humans, including human-fairy relationships and offspring. Aiming to answer an array of questions on humans, fairies, and intimacy that the author has been asked over the years, Paid with a Kiss is a deep dive into nearly two millennia of folk belief.
