Mael Brigde is a devotee of Brigit, goddess and saint, and founder of the Daughters of the Flame, which has tended Brigit’s perpetual fire since Imbolc 1993.

She is the author of Sun Among Stars: A Brigit of Ireland Devotional (2021), a collection of contemplative poetry, essays and resources and was a featured performer for Brigit 1500 at the Brigid of Faughart Festival in Dundalk, Ireland in 2024.
