What books have you written?

I have written quite a few books; Celtic herbals, Druid novels, and books of Pagan interviews and history. My book with Moon Books is titled “A Legacy of Druids – Conversations with Druid Leaders of Britain, the USA and Canada, past and present”. It includes conversations with founders and shakers of the modern Druid revival.

How would you describe your spiritual pathway?

I am a Celtic Reconstructionist Druid. My Order is called Tribe of the Oak. I have been a Druid initiate since 1984.

What is something fun and quirky about yourself?

I live in an oak forest and I love possums. I feed them in my entranceway at night.

What tips do you have for folk beginning their spiritual journey?

Read widely and have lots of encounters with fellow Pagans as well as teachers from other spiritual traditions. See what grabs you in the end. Spirituality is a life-long quest, you really have no idea where it will lead you in the end. Enjoy the ride!

Which deity or deities would you love to have dinner with?

Brighid has been my Patroness for over forty years. I would be honored to share a meal in Her presence.

What magical items would you take with you if you had to live on an island for a year?

A fire-starter of some kind. As a Druid, if I have a fire, a source of water, and a tree, I am in church. Fire takes my prayers to the Sky World, Water takes my offerings down to the ancestors and the Sidhe, while a tree allows me to travel to the Underworld via the roots, or fly anywhere I want via the branches.
