Meet the author is a series of articles intended to introduce you to our wonderful authors. Learn about the books they’ve written, the spiritual pathways they’ve traversed and some fun little tidbits… introducing Susan Harper!

What books have you written?
I’ve solo authored Feminist Witchcraft, and my work has appeared in Naming the Goddess, The Goddess in America, and Seven Ages of the Goddess.
How would you describe your spiritual pathway?
I’m a Feminist Witch and Goddess Woman, Unitarian Universalist by community because I dig the core values. I often describe myself as spiritually promiscuous because I love anything that puts me in the presence of the Sacred.
What is something fun and quirky about yourself?
Something fun about me is that I was a burlesque dancer for a time.
Where can people find you?
You can find me on FB (https://www.facebook.com/dreamingpriestess/) and Insta (@dreaming_priestess). New website in the works. You can also find me on Substack (https://substack.com/@susanharperphd)
What tips do you have for folk beginning their spiritual journey?
My advice is to read, read, read; go and meet people when you can; try things out; and trust your gut.
Which deity or deities would you love to have dinner with?
I’d love to have dinner with The Morrigan, but I’m not going to let her cook or choose the restaurant.
What magical items would you take with you if you had to live on an island for a year?
I’d take my Tarot cards, a crystal ball (because I could use it to light a fire), and my journal.
