I’m a skeptical Virgo, and I know how crazy this is going to sound, but it happened. Hear me out!  To some of you, maybe you’re going to say Karen Tate is crraaazzzy!  And others will say, ya know, I hear about these things happening all the time.  So I’m just going to stop worrying about what you think and tell you what actually happened. I believe it was Spirit. Others might call it magic. Some might call it destiny or my soul’s journey.  You let me know after you listen.

I attended my first public channeling session. A woman by the name of Adelyne was appearing at my local Center for Spiritual Living and I’d never seen or heard a channeler in person before.  I was curious.  I’d been opening myself up to more right-brained ideas and activities after living so much in my left brain, getting things done: books written, tours organized, rituals planned and all the rest. And  I’d moved from Los Angeles to central CA and then to So. OR.  I’d been taking care of my husband with a brain injury. But now, in my retirement, I wanted to focus more on consciousness and right-brained ideas I’d not adequately explored.

So I got there early, and Adelyne was doing a private reading in the public space up at the front.  I went and got a seat in the third row center so I could see and hear well when the public reading started. I was sitting there, probably scrolling through my phone, when I looked up and saw that Adelyne, who was channeling Archangel Michael, stopped the private reading, turned and looked at me, eyeball to eyeball like lasers and said –

“We will go on to write more books. “

Well, can you imagine how this took me totally off-guard? How did she even know I wrote books?

But, I chuckled in disbelief.  I’d just finished launching my 7^th book, Normalizing Abuse, about how our culture normalizes abuse and exploitation. How people are numb and so many just endure it, thinking that’s the way it is and always will be – they no longer even see what they’re living through is abuse.  I was exhausted and felt with certainty that I was done writing books. I was empty and had nothing more to say.  Really. I was moving on in this next phase of my life to other things – when this happened.  Then Michael said:

“You have lots more inspiration to come to you. Don’t give up.”

I sat there with my mouth open.

Then Adelyne, as Michael, turned back to her client and finished her personal reading.

So what do you do in this situation?  I told a few friends.  I thought WOW THAT WAS INTERESTING – then I filed it away and forgot about it.

Then, in what seems like about a year later, I was talking to my old publisher, asking about Goddess fiction books. We didn’t talk often. But in what seemed like out of the blue, he said they aren’t publishing Goddess fiction, but right there, in this moment, he asked me to write a book on the Divine Feminine.  I could hardly believe it – and the other part of this was I was no longer empty.  I immediately knew, just like Michael foretold, exactly what I wanted to write and was ready to do it.

I guess I’d recovered from the Normalizing Abuse book launch because I jumped at this offer, which is rather unheard of.  Usually, the author is pitching the publisher. And within a few days, I had a contract to write Divine Feminine: Deity, Archetype and Ideal.  The book poured out of me so easily.  I understand when people say now that they got a download and they sat there and wrote for a week and their book was finished.  Well, it took me longer than a week, but it was done with ease and quickly by the usual timing.  I call it my magic book from Spirit or Goddess.  Not since my first book, Sacred Places of Goddess:108 Destinations, have I felt such a divine hand in the books I’ve written.  I guess the time is right for the world to hear about Goddess’ Sacred Trident.

So, I invite you to go to Amazon or Simon and Schuster and pre-order your copy.  You have a part to play in this as well.  I believe this is a book that needs to be out there and people have to see it and learn about the Divine Feminine, and what I call her sacred trident – Her as Deity, Archetype and Ideal.

You know, some people never learn what’s written in this book about Goddess.  It really depends on how you came to the Sacred Feminine, what teachers you had.  Absent one Big Book, like a Goddess Bible, we don’t all travel down the same paths, learning the same things about her.  Well, this is my contribution.  As Lady Olivia Robertson of the international FOI ordained me decades ago, I am one of her Emissary Priestesses, and I’m Priestessing Her onto the World Stage.  Will you help me spread the word about this book?  Will you buy a copy for yourself or for your friends?  Will you tell my story of Archangel Michael?
